Phillip Smith
Co-Owner | Chief Pilot
Originally from Australia, Phillip relocated to the United States in 2010 to pursue his passion for aviation. With more than 7,000 hours of precision helicopter flight across multiple rotorcraft, he brings an unmatched level of experience to utility helicopter operations. Phillip is type-rated in the Blackhawk and qualified in the Bell Huey, with thousands of hours logged in the MD500 series—making him a recognized expert in power line construction and aerial inspection missions. At Rotor Power, Phillip leads with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency, ensuring every project is completed on time and to the highest operational standards. His deep technical knowledge of helicopter performance in utility environments is a key asset to clients and crews alike.
Damien O'Halloran
Co-Owner | Assistant Chief Pilot
Originally from Ireland, Damien moved to the United States in 2007 to complete his flight training at Bristow Academy. Beginning his aviation career as a flight instructor, he quickly advanced into the utility helicopter industry, where he has spent over a decade specializing in aerial power line operations. With more than 6,500 hours of flight time, most in precision wire environments, Damien has served as lead pilot for two major utility companies—managing crews of pilots and linemen to ensure safe and efficient operations. As Assistant Chief Pilot at Rotor Power LLC, he applies his extensive technical expertise and leadership experience to deliver safe, reliable, and high-performance helicopter services for power line construction, inspection, and maintenance projects.
